Data Protection Notice

The protection of your personal data is one of our prime concerns. We therefore observe the applicable legal provisions on the protection, lawful use and secrecy of personal data and on data security, (DSGVO, TKG 2003). Below, we inform you about the type, scope and purpose of collection and use of your personal data and about your rights.

Personal data

Personal data will only be processed by us, if you actively provide them to us, e.g. if contact us via email.

Server-log files

In order to optimize this website in relation to its system-performance, usability and the provision of useful information on our services, the provider of this website (World4You) automatically collects and stores information in so called server-log files. This includes:

   the page being accessed (URL)
   the type of web browser
   the operating system used
the referrer URL (the Internet page from which you have accessed the current page)
   internet-protocol address (anonymised)
the time at which access occurred

Anonymous information of this kind may be statistically evaluated by us to optimize our website and the underlying technology and is stored for security reasons.

Google Maps

This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. It is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To use Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. The use of Google Maps is in the interest of making our website appealing and to facilitate the location of places specified by us on the website. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. Further information about handling user data, can be found in the data protection declaration of Google at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
If you disagree with the processing of your data, you may disable the service of Google Maps and prevent the transmission of data to Google. To do this, you must disable the Java Script feature in your browser. However, please be aware that in this case you will not be able to use Google Maps or will only be able to use them to a limited extent.

Patient Information

We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that the collection and storage of personal data forms an integral part of the process of providing dental treatment. The collection and storage of personal data is necessary for all forms of dental treatment and it is not possible to provide dental treatment without the collection and storage of such data.
The personal data stored by the practice will only be passed on to third parties if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. statutory health insurance) or if you have consented to the data being passed on. Personal data will be passed on to third parties only to the extent that is necessary or is approved by you. Some dental work (crowns, inlays, splints, etc.) may be contracted out to a dental laboratory. As a rule, the dental technician involved only receives your name for the assignment of the technical work to be carried out. (Details may be obtained from reception)
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes of processing. However, we have a duty to retain health data under statutory data retention and preservation requirements.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent and to objection. Please note that we are obliged to process the respective data partially without your consent in case of any requests regarding deletion, restriction, revocation and opposition due to legal regulations.
If we process data on the basis of your consent (for example, consent in the context of patient education, e-mail), you can revoke this consent at any time – in writing and without stating reasons – with effect for the future. However, the revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out until then.
If you believe that the processing of your data breaches data protection law or your rights under data protection law have been infringed in any other way, you may file a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), (Wickenburggasse 8, 1080 Wien, dsb@dsb.gtv.at).
